[polldaddy poll=6625027] Even if there are a lot of readers of the blog that live outside the US, I am assuming that there are still many of you who are interested on who will be the next US president in less than three weeks (US presidential election is November 6) especially if the new president will help boost investments for a biobased economy here in the US.
Who do you think will do a better job in boosting investments and development of renewable energy (biofuel, solar, cleantech) as well as biobased chemicals here in the US?

However, news on the struggling solar industry here in the US, lukewarm market for ethanol, and recent bankruptcy filing of a major EV battery maker are not helping these two candidates to reinforce their future renewable energy plans. It is also a chicken and egg situation where political and regulatory uncertainty in the US is forcing renewable energy investors to think twice about putting money in if there are no future incentives coming from the government.
It will definitely be interesting how the US renewable energy market will come out next year.
