Reverdia looks to China for collaboration

Bio-succinic acid producer, Reverdia, had two recent press releases and both of them announcing collaborations in China. This week, Reverdia has signed a strategic partnership with Hangzhou Xinfu Science & Technology Co. Ltd (Xinfu) for a long-term supply agreement of Reverdia’s Biosuccinium for use in bio-based polymers and co-polymers for the packaging industry. Xinfu will exclusively use Biosuccinium for producing bio-based polymers, derivatives and new cutting-edge biomaterials for packaging applications such as compostable single-use bags.

Last month, Reverdia has partnered with Dezhou Xinhuarun Technology (Xinhuarun) to jointly develop and promote Biosuccinium-based microcellular polyurethane foams.  The new foams will be used in soles for footwear and further applications. Xinhuarun’s products are exported across Asia, America, Europe and the Middle East. The company develops and manufactures functional footwear, shoe soles and innovative polymers serving the footwear market.
