Renewable Chemical Programming at 2018 BIO World Congress

BIO’s 2018 World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology in Philadelphia, July 16-19, 2018, is less than a month away! And with the tri-state region of Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania ranking as one of the top markets for biotechnology and home to many startups, you won’t want to miss out on this year’s BIO World Congress.

From biobased consumer products and biofuels, to synthetic biology and gene editing, this year’s conference has something for anyone working in industrial biotechnology. Most notably, the 2018 BIO World Congress will feature robust programming around many of the technologies and companies featured in BIO’s 2018 Renewable Chemical Platforms Building the Biobased Economy directory. The directory provides an overview of 100 companies, from small startups to mature companies, and the commercialized biobased products and processes used across a variety of industries and subsectors including renewable chemicals, enzymes, biofuels and biobased polymers.

The directory is the perfect resource to navigate through the hundreds of exhibitors and companies working in renewable chemicals and other industrial biotechnology sectors that will be in Philadelphia at the 2018 BIO World Congress. Programming on Renewable Chemicals and Biobased Products at BIO’s World Congress will include four breakout sessions on Tuesday, July 17, including:

And to start planning your BIO World Congress schedule and partnering strategy, BIO’s One-on-One Partnering System is now open. BIO’s One-on-One Partnering is the most efficient way to do business while at World Congress, allowing you to communicate directly with prospective investors and executives. Before arriving in Philadelphia, attendees should start planning their World Congress experience and reaching out to potential partners to begin connecting. BIO’s One-on-One Partnering does the scheduling for you, so you can focus and arrive with a plan.

The 2018 BIO World Congress will also feature programming in other areas of industrial biotechnology, including algae production technologies, agricultural crop technologies and biomass supply, specialty food ingredients, flavors and fragrances, and more.
