VIDEO: P&G increases ‘Naturals’ product offering

Here’s an interesting video interview from the Cincinnati Business Courier, which featured Procter & Gamble (P&G) and its aim to strengthen its “All Naturals” product portfolio in areas such as detergents, household care products and even diapers. In a recent blog post by P&G, CEO David Taylor addressed the company’s progress on ‘naturals’ with a large group of analysts at the CAGNY conference in February:

“We continue to develop new, superior product offerings that address the needs and wants of ‘naturals’ consumers who are increasingly concerned about the ingredients in their products, and ‘sustainability’ consumers who are increasingly concerned about the environmental impact of how their products are produced, packaged, used and disposed of.”

Speaking of detergents and household care, I will be attending the latest ICIS World Surfactants conference next week in Jersey City, which I find truly excellent when it comes to getting market information, latest innovation and consumption trends in surfactant ingredients. As I’ve mentioned before, renewable chemicals consumption is pretty heavy in the surfactant arena. P&G is one of the speakers on Day 2 of the conference. I will be tweeting via @DGreenblogger under #Surfactants. See you there!
