The green blog has just signed in as a media partner for Roquette University’s Green Chemistry and Fermentation Symposium, which will be held on May 22-23 at Roquette America’s Innovation Center in Geneva, Illinois.
Here is the preliminary line-up for the event. Maybe I’ll also get a lab tour if I get lucky!

Dear Doris,
I’m a great fan of your blog, because you do reprort any and everythoing that happens in the any part of the biotech and green chemistry world and it is comfortable to depend on such a reliable source as your blog.
Thanks a lot.
I would love to be able attending the Roquette ‘s symposium; but of course Illinois is so far from where I live (Paris, France) !
I would like to ask you a favour: if you may have an opportunity to chat with Franck Thumerel or one of the Roquette managers, could you please ask what is the curreent standing and planning for the Roquette l-methionine project (amino acid to be used as a food additive to feed chicken and pigs). It is one item of the Biohub program that Roquette is leading.
Thanks for all !
Didier
Hi Didier,
Thanks for following the blog! I will try to ask your question. I will also do a live tweet during the event so feel free to check on the blog for those days!
Best Regards,
Doris
That’s great !
Just a tip: I heard Roquette has not yet decided where and when they would build an l-methionine demoplant : Usa , Brazil ? Asia ?
Thanks a lot
Didier
