Evonik’s biobased polyamide in racing cars

Evonik’s biobased VESTAMID® Terra polyamide has been tested in a multi-layer tube systems of a racing car RED Motorsport’s Lotus Exige, which took place in the Touring Car Championships TCC of the Deutscher Motorsport Verband DMV at the Hockenheimring on June 14-15. The racing car boasts a number of novel features this year including a multi-layer line for charge-air cooling. This is the first time Evonik Industries is testing the multi-layer tube system with the biobased plastic on the race track.
